Cooking from Within
Seminar Series
Natural, Intuitive Cooking Seminars
for Everyone
by Master Chef
Hiroshi Hayashi
"Intuition is most important to cooking. Food should
be natural, simple and easy to cook."
Hiroshi Hayashi
Chef Hayashi teaches as he was taught: to cook from
within your own nature, your own sensibilities. He gives you techniques
that release your creativity and sharpen your awareness of the cooking process.
What you know, the way you see, smell, taste, hear and feel are your most
sophisticated cooking tools. Individual expression produces distinctive
results.
"When 10 people cook the same food, it comes out
10 different ways."
Hiroshi Hayashi

requests that you bring along your enthusiasm and your appetite.
"Taking Hiroshi's classes is like soaking in a bowl of hot soup.
Without even trying, I feel imbued with understanding," said a lawyer
with no previous cooking experience. Participants find these seminars change
more about the way they cook than what they cook. Cooking from Within
cultivates your nature; it helps you feel good while cooking food
that's good for you.
Master Chef Hiroshi Hayashi's title and training came from ten
years of study and apprenticeship under one of Japan's greatest chefs at
the Mikasa Onsen in Nara. For more than 15 years, Chef Hayashi operated
a natural foods work study program at his restaurants in Boston and Cambridge,
Massachusetts. Many of his former students are working as chefs and restauranteurs
throughout the world. They regards Chef Hayashi as a pioneer in natural
foods cooking. The U.S. Congress honored Chef Hayashi by inviting him to
Washington to prepared a special harvest feast. He owned and operated Latacarta
restaurant in Peterborough, New Hampshire for many years and now owns and
runs the Monadnock School for Natural Cooking and Philosophy.
Leaving behind recipes, fancy kitchen machines, culinary fear and
preconceived notions about cooking, you will discover within you the skill
and artistry for delicious cooking. We invite you to a peaceful sojourn
in the country that will be as informative as it is inspiring.
